2011 Ad Letter

Here is a Program ad letter you can use to ask for ads for our program.  Business owners are looking for ways to advertise and this is a very affordable way.  Be creative.  There are lots of businesses that quilters support with their dollars.

I was asked by a quilt shop in Richmond if they could have a larger ad.  I added these sizes:

The program is printed on 8 1/2 x 11 in landscape, folded.

The cost would be:

1/3 page $20.00 (business card size)
2/3 page $40.00
Full page $60.00

Hope that helps.

We are also looking for White Glove Ladies to help during the Quilt Show.  You can volunteer in hourly increments.  Please call Sallie Powers to sign up.  The more White Glove Ladies we have, the safer we can keep the quilts.  We try hard to make sure the people attending the show do not touch your quilt.  If they ask to see the back, the White Glove Ladies (who really do wear white gloves) can pick up the corner and show the back.

Think about signing up for an hour to help out either before you see the show and visit the vendors or afterward.  We really do need lots of hands!!!!

I hope you are working on your Challenge Quilt or quilt to enter into the show.  If you haven’t sent in your registration, don’t forget to do so.  The clock is ticking down.  Your quilt does not need to be finished before sending in your registration.  But you do need to be registered by the deadline, which is February 18, 2011 – which is less than one month away!!!!!!
