What an amazing show we had! Thank you to the 12 wonderful vendors, the over 1400 guests and countless volunteers (a few who are pictured in the image below) who made it possible to have a great show. We had 254 quilts on display PLUS Quilts of Valor presentations to eight veterans and a wonderful Bed Turning presentation. SQG 40th Anniversary Quilts

Star Quilters Guild celebrated its 40th anniversary during October 2021. What an outstanding achievement for volunteers to keep a guild thriving for almost half a century!
To celebrate this momentous event, guild members responded to the challenge to make a small quilt for a year of their choosing from 1981-2021. The outside parameter of the quilts were to measure 81 inches – honoring the year our guild began in 1981. Most members chose a year that had significance in their own life or an important event in our nation’s history that had touched them emotionally. Enjoy this wonderful display that celebrates our guild’s history and the way quilts have been used to tell a story throughout history.
