Guild Meetings

Currently all guild gatherings are suspended till further notice due to coronavirus.

7PM on the 1st Monday most months. January, July, and September meetings  are on 2nd Monday to avoid the holiday weekend.

May and December meetings are at 6 PM to accommodate a pot luck social.

Hand Work Group (aka Busy Fingers)

3rd  Monday 6:30 PM each month
Barnes & Nobles at Tanglewood Mall

Some members work on Dear Jane squares, but others work on other hand work.  Everyone is welcome.  Bring your hand piecing, appliqué, hand quilting, binding, embroidery, or any-thing else you do by hand and join us.  It is a great time of fun, fellowship and help from other members.  Bring your own supplies.  Of course, we all will be glad to share if you forget to  bring something.

Barefoot Quiltessas

1st  Friday 10-3 PM each month at Our Lady of Nazareth Church

Art Quilts (aka Starry Eyed Quilters)

We meet mostly on 4th Monday evenings at 7pm, with some daytime “play dates” for experiments that take 3 or more hours.

What do we all want from this group?

  • Focus/incentive to get going
  • Support for exploration
  • Sharing Ideas
  • Be more creative.. bolder
  • Try/Learn Techniques like dying,  portraits from photos, design exercises, flower pounding, dye painting, batiking, paint sticks, silk screening
  • Group and/or collaborative Challenges like “slicing” a photo and each one do a piece of the whole, or Chinese Whispers

We meet in members’ homes, and use a private Facebook group for communication.

The guild numbers about 90 people.

Visitors and members should sign in at the front table. Also, if you recently joined, check there for your name tag.

Please turn cell phones off during meetings.

Dues are $15 per year, due May 1st.
